Luke is a qualified Exercise Scientist and Remedial Massage Therapist currently completing a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University. Originally from rural Victoria, Luke takes a collaborative approach to treatment, working with each client to understand their goals and develop practical strategies to support their physical wellbeing.
With a strong background in exercise science, Luke combines his knowledge of the human body with hands-on massage therapy to look beyond the immediate area of discomfort. His goal is to help clients better understand their body, improve movement and build strategies that support their health and performance long-term.
Luke is passionate about continuing his education and staying up to date with current research. He has also completed a research assistant placement with Victoria University, further developing his interest in evidence-based approaches to health, exercise and rehabilitation.
Drawing on experience in both Remedial Massage and traditional Chinese massage, Luke incorporates a range of techniques depending on each client's needs. His treatments may include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure, dry needling, cupping and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), with a focus on creating an effective and personalised treatment.
Luke also has a particular interest in combining massage with exercise and movement strategies to help clients stay active and manage their physical wellbeing beyond the treatment room.
Outside of the clinic, Luke is a keen beach volleyball player, enjoys training at the gym and spends plenty of time with his dog, Billy.
